A team of computer scientists and sociologists, in collaboration with Google DeepMind, has developed an AI system that creates a digital personality simulation based on a two-hour interview. The study is published on arXiv.
Using ChatGPT as a foundation, the system analyzes responses during the interview and generates a digital model capable of replicating answers with about 85% accuracy. Researchers validate this by comparing the real and simulated responses to identical questions.
The goal is to streamline sociological research by reducing the time and resources required for surveys and data analysis.
